 Spring Canyon Community Park, Fort Collins, Colorado
Characterized by lush grass valleys flanked by boulder strewn canyon walls and wild flowers, richly themed universally accessible play environments, pedestrian and horse paths winding through stately, mature cottonwoods and a variety of recreational activities, Spring Canyon Park is the newest 100-acre community park in the Fort Collins park system. A nod to Spring Canyon’s history as a quarry, local Native American lore, and distinctive geology, the park design creates a fun and inviting park unique among parks along Colorado’s Front Range.
