MacKenzie Place Community, Lone Tree, Colorado

MacKenzie Place at Ridgegate is a 25 acre senior retirement community located in Lone Tree, Colorado.  Combining single and multi-family independent living, assisted living, and dementia and Alzheimer’s care facilities, MacKenzie Place at Ridgegate has been described as a cruise ship on land.  Site amenities include an exercise loop walk which connects residents to distinct outdoor living spaces and sitting areas including a rose garden, ornamental grass garden, shade plaza, table games plaza, and community gardens. 

Additionally the site is graced with a memory care garden, wooden pergolas, a water feature, stone fireplace, outdoor concert area, and numerous outdoor dining patios. The planting plan is derived from the distinct geographical location of the project: the foothills of the Front Range where both plains and mountains collide.
