Downtown Transit Center -Fort Collins, Colorado

BHA worked with Aller-Lingle Architects and the City of Fort Collins to
develop a multi-modal Transit Facility within Downtown Fort Collins. The
site design was driven by the aesthetics of the C&S freight depot that
is the hub of this new transit center. The depot's historic character and
materials were drawn into the site through a brick colonnade and bus
shelters along with ornamental pavers. To break up the formalism, BHA
introduced plantings to accent the unique patterns created by the
undulating bus stalls as well as introducing contemporary custom signage
with a whimsical transit theme.
