Think of a time when you walked through the grounds of a well-designed campus. If it flowed well, was unified in purpose, and functioned in an effective manner, it was likely designed by a landscape architect. People immediately appreciate an architects' work when they view a well-designed building or structure. But the smooth flowing landscape of a campus doesn't just "happen". It too must be designed, by landscape architects who will truly make it a memorable place.
